Lynsey Waugh

DIRECTOR OF TRAINING / COFOUNDER

Movement is medicine. Precision is power. Awareness is everything.

Lynsey is the architect of the BSLN_ training method. She believes movement has the power to sculpt, restore and strengthen not just the body, but the way we inhabit it. Her approach reignites deep body awareness through empowered, intelligent movement, cultivating kinaesthetic sensitivity that supports safe, functional, beautifully aligned patterns for life.

Born in the UK, Lynsey brings over a decade of international performance experience to her teaching. She graduated with honours from the prestigious Rambert Ballet School before moving directly into the European Ballet Company. Her performance career took her to the West End and Broadway stages, touring globally in productions including West Side Story, Carmen, Copacabana, Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake, before joining Sir Matthew Bourne’s world-renowned company, New Adventures.

Alongside her performance career, Lynsey earned a First Class Honours Degree in Injury Prevention and Education, deepening her understanding of biomechanics, rehabilitation principles and sustainable training practices. This academic foundation, combined with years of elite performance, gives her a uniquely informed perspective on how bodies move, recover and thrive.

Time spent immersed in high-performance environments shaped her understanding of physicality, discipline and artistry. Refining her craft, both as a professional dancer and devoted Pilates practitioner, sparked a lifelong fascination with the foundations of movement. Her ongoing thirst for knowledge ensures her work continues to evolve, integrating evidence-based practice with lived experience.

Today, Lynsey blends technical precision with artistry. She teaches with authenticity, rigour and a touch of magic, creating spaces where clients feel strong, capable and deeply connected to their bodies.

Her mission is simple: to help you move better, feel stronger and rediscover confidence in your own physical intelligence.
